How it works
From declaration to verified data
All online checks follow the same stages and the same scoring rules. So results from different companies can be compared, and anyone reading a report knows how it was produced.
The stages
- Purchase and access. Get your price, confirm and pay online. You get access to the Client area straight away.
- Self-assessment. Answer the questions and upload the evidence for each answer. You can save and come back whenever you like. When you have finished, submit for verification.
- Document review. The verifier checks each answer against its evidence and marks it as Confirmed, Corrected (with the correct score and the reason) or Not verifiable. Within 15 working days of submission.
- Site visit (Full verification only). The verifier checks sample processes and records and talks to people. The verifier can also correct answers already confirmed.
- Outcome. You receive the report within 10 working days of the visit, or of the end of the document review if there is no visit. With a positive outcome, you also receive the attestation and the entry in the register.
The score
How it is calculated
- Each answer is worth 2 points (Yes), 1 point (Partly) or 0 points (No); N/A questions are excluded.
- The area score is the ratio of points obtained to points available; the total is the average of the areas, so every area carries the same weight.
- Two scores are calculated: the self-assessment and the verified score, side by side, area by area.
- An answer that cannot be verified is worth 0.
Sample report · Health and safety area
3 answers corrected: emergency plan out of date, fire training expired for 4 workers, injury log incomplete.

Outcome levels
| Verified score | PD Supplier Check | ISO checks | PD ESG Check |
|---|---|---|---|
| 85% or more | Good | Ready for certification | Ready for reporting |
| 60% to 84% | Acceptable with actions | Ready with actions | Ready with actions |
| below 60% | Critical | Not yet ready | Not yet ready |
If a blocking (★) or zero-tolerance question is not met, the outcome is the lowest level, whatever the score. At the lowest level you receive the report but not the attestation.
Findings and follow-up
Findings
Every corrected or unverifiable answer becomes a finding: blocking, major, minor or observation. For each one the report states what is missing and the expected action.
Follow-up
Within 90 days of the report you can close the findings and ask for a follow-up check, document review only, at a fixed price (get the price). If the level improves, you receive a new attestation.
