The problem we solve
Every year a company receives dozens of questionnaires: from customers qualifying suppliers, from banks assessing risk, from lead firms collecting ESG data across the supply chain. The answers are almost always self-declarations: nobody checks them, and the people who receive them know it.
For buyers
You need reliable suppliers, but visiting them all costs too much, especially when they are far away or abroad. A questionnaire filled in by the supplier does not tell you how it really works.
For those being assessed
You answer a different questionnaire for every customer, and your word counts for no more than a less serious competitor’s. A verified result sets you apart and can be reused with several customers.

From 2027 large customers will ask suppliers for ESG data. We verify energy, emissions, people and governance before you send them, so the figures stand up to any check.

An online check in four steps, with a site visit when needed.

Self-assessment
Buy the check and complete the online questionnaire in the Client area, uploading the evidence for each answer. You can save and come back whenever you like.

Document review
The verifier checks each answer against the uploaded documents and confirms it, corrects it or marks it as not verifiable, explaining why.

Site visit
With Full verification we come to your site: processes, sample records, interviews with people. That is where we see how you really work.

Report and attestation
You receive the verified score by area, the outcome level and the findings with the expected action. With a positive outcome, an attestation valid for 12 months, which anyone can check in the public register.

The report sets the score the company gave itself next to the score confirmed by the verifier. This is the part readers care about most: it shows where the declarations hold up and where they do not, and what is needed to close the gap.

About us
A Portuguese company with Italian roots
Parallel Discover is based in Portimão, in the Algarve. It was set up as a technical bridge between Italy and Portugal: we know the standards, the language and the way companies work in both countries. Today online checks let us work for companies across Europe, and come on site when needed.
Frequently asked questions
Does Parallel Discover issue certifications?
No. Parallel Discover is not a certification body and is not accredited. We independently verify data, documents and sites under public rules and issue a report and, with a positive outcome, an attestation of verification.
How is this different from consultancy?
A consultant helps you build the system; we check it and tell you frankly what works and what does not. To stay impartial, we do not provide consultancy to the companies we verify.
How much does a check cost?
Checks start from €450 excl. VAT. The exact price depends on the type of check, the number of workers, sites and the country: you see it straight away in the online quote, travel included.
How soon will I get the result?
The document review is completed within 15 working days of submitting the questionnaire; the report arrives within 10 working days of the site visit.
Who sees my data and documents?
Only you and the assigned verifier (and, for a Supplier Check bought by a customer, that customer). Data stay on servers in the European Union; the public register shows only the attestation details.
