PD Quality Check

ISO 9001:2026

Ready for ISO 9001 certification?

An independent check of your quality management system before the certification body’s audit, already on the new edition of the standard: how ready you are, which blocking requirements are missing and which findings to close.

Why check first

An ISO 9001 audit does not stop at procedures: the auditor asks for records, follows an order from contract to delivery and talks to people. The new 2026 edition also changes some expectations, for example on quality culture and on climate change in the context. Knowing your weak points in advance saves you a second visit and a date that slips.

From procedure to record

We check that what is written down is actually done, with the evidence the auditor will ask for.

Suppliers and external processes

Qualification, monitoring and control of what you outsource: one of the areas where audits raise the most findings.

Internal audits and review

Without a complete cycle of internal audits and a recorded management review, certification cannot start.

The blocking requirements

If even one of these requirements is not met, the outcome is “Not yet ready”, whatever the score. These are the points on which a certification audit cannot be closed.

  • Documented scope, with any exclusions justified (4.3)
  • Quality policy approved and communicated (5.2)
  • Documented information required by the standard, under control (7.5)
  • Statutory and regulatory requirements for products and services identified and met (8.2.2)
  • Complete cycle of internal audits with competent, impartial auditors (9.2)
  • Complete management review, with decisions recorded (9.3)
  • Nonconformities and complaints handled with effective corrective action (10.2)

What you receive

A clear picture of how ready you are

  • Outcome level: Ready for certification (85% or more), Ready with actions (60–84%), Not yet ready.
  • Blocking requirements met and not met, with the evidence that is missing.
  • Score by clause of the standard, next to your self-assessment.
  • Findings with severity, missing evidence and expected action.
  • Attestation of verification with a positive outcome, valid for 12 months and open to checking in the public register.

This is not a certification audit and does not replace the certification body’s decision.

Frequently asked questions

Is the check already on ISO 9001:2026?

Yes. The questionnaire follows the new edition of the standard; if your certification is still against the 2015 edition, the verifier takes this into account in the report.

Does the check replace the certification body’s audit?

No. It tells you how ready you are; the decision remains with the body you choose.

Will you help us close the findings?

No. We do not provide consultancy to the companies we verify, so our judgement stays independent. The report states precisely what is missing.

We have more than 50 workers or several sites.

The quote calculates the days on site based on workers and sites. Above 250 workers or 5 sites, we agree them with you.

When is the best time to do it?

Ideally two or three months before the certification audit: there is time to close the findings without moving the date.

Can I update the result after closing the findings?

Yes, with a follow-up check within 90 days, document review only, at a fixed price: you will find it in the online quote.
