ISO 45001

Ready for ISO 45001 certification?

An independent check of your occupational health and safety management system before the certification body’s audit: hazards and risks, worker participation, emergencies and whatever can block certification.

Why check first

ISO 45001 asks for more than a risk assessment document: it asks for workers to be consulted and to participate, for contractors to be under control, and for incidents and near misses to be genuinely investigated. The certification auditor talks to people on the shop floor. We do the same beforehand, so you know what they will find.

Hazards and risks

All activities, including non-routine ones, contractors, visitors, and organisational and psychosocial factors.

Participation

Consultation of workers and their representatives on risks, training, objectives and contractors.

Incidents

Injuries and near misses recorded, investigated with workers and closed with effective actions.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace the risk assessment required by law?

No. We check that your system includes it and keeps it up to date, as the standard requires; the legal obligations remain yours and your advisers’.

Does the check replace the certification body’s audit?

No. It tells you how ready you are; the decision remains with the body you choose.

Will you help us close the findings?

No. We do not provide consultancy to the companies we verify, so our judgement stays independent. The report states precisely what is missing.

We have more than 50 workers or several sites.

The quote calculates the days on site based on workers and sites. Above 250 workers or 5 sites, we agree them with you.

When is the best time to do it?

Ideally two or three months before the certification audit: there is time to close the findings without moving the date.

Can I update the result after closing the findings?

Yes, with a follow-up check within 90 days, document review only, at a fixed price: you will find it in the online quote.
